ENGINE & PERIPHERALS

The Clio RSR Project features a complete engine rebuild, carried out with new or motorsport‑grade internal components and strict Renault Sport specifications. Following the rebuild, the engine underwent a careful and methodical break‑in procedure, after which a new, final ECU calibration was performed to optimise performance, drivability and reliability on the fully run‑in power unit.

Beyond the engine itself, the car has received a full refresh of all supporting systems and peripherals — including mounts, reservoirs, cooling hardware, the fuel system, electrical components, heat shielding, intake and exhaust assemblies. Every subsystem has been restored, upgraded or re‑engineered to deliver zero‑hour mechanical condition, factory‑motorsport precision and a presentation level that matches the car’s overall showroom‑plus finish.

HEAT SHIELDING — BULKHEAD & ENGINE‑BAY THERMAL PROTECTION

Custom aluminium heat shield mounted ahead of the bulkhead, fully wrapped in gold reflective foil, designed to protect the cabin structure from the radiant heat of the exhaust manifold
Bulkhead (engine‑bay side) additionally treated with Dynamat Extreme for vibration and resonance control
Dynamat Hoodliner thermal insulation applied to the same bulkhead area for supplementary heat management and reduced thermal soak
Starter motor wrapped in gold reflective foil for additional protection from exhaust manifold heat
